Madame Flood has been teaching French, US History and English for 11 years,  10 of those at Oak Canyon.  She LOVES teaching French and US History and is thrilled to be teaching both again this year!  US History is her minor and she has a State of Utah Endorsement for teaching History.  It is one of her favorite things in the world to teach.  It's SO MUCH FUN!!  She fell in love with French in an intro to foreign language class in the 7th grade and has either taught or taken a French class every year since then.  She served an LDS mission in Bordeaux, France, did a BYU study abroad in Paris and Nice and has visited France and french-speaking Canada many times.  Mme Flood and her husband, Chris, a BYU French professor, love to travel to France with students and parents.  They have done 5 student travel trips and will be doing their 6th over Thanksgiving break, 2018.  They have 3 children, Shea, Clare & Fionn who attend a French-immersion school in Provo and a gigantic 150 lb. Bernese Mountain dog named Bear.
